VA., SATURDAY MORNING, OCTOBER 29, 1966All-Male Jury Deadlocks On Bastardy CaseAn all-male jury deadlocked dirt road near the Fayetteafter three hours of deliberation Friday over the bastardy case against Odell Herron in Haleigh County Criminal Court.Herron, 35-year-old operator of The Coal City Club, is charged by Miss Lois Jean Collins, 26, of Midway.Defense attorney David T, Kennedy told jorors the case was not a criminal one, but was to determine if Herron is responsible for the support of the child involved.Kennedy described his clientCounty tavern.In defense testimony, Herron admitted to traveling with theing any stops or having any relations with her.Jorors hearing the case were Robert L. Carte, Ted E. Floyd,woman to Biilo’s, but not mak- W. C. Mitchell, Herman Coots,B. B. Allen, Charles Moody, Van C. Allison, Douglas Adams,C. A.
