Comanche and Hamilton Counties.The Gatesville Messenger:Gatesville and Coryell County aw enforcement officers have been joined by Texas Rangers and other offirers in a wide spread search for a suspect wanted for aggravated rape in connection with an attack on an 18 year old Gatesville High School senior Saturday after noon.The victim, who told police she had been beaten, kickedand forcibly raped, was taken to Coryell Memorial Hospital after she went to an East Gatesville home seeking aid. She was released from the hospital about 1 p. m. Sunday, and her condition is said to be satisfactory.Carroll Duke, criminal in vestigator in the district attorney's office here, said the suspect was last seen driving a gold-colored car westbound on Hwy. 84. The suspect is described as a white male about 40 years old. about 5 feet. 8 inches tall, and weighing about 170 pounds.Duke said the suspect has light, sandy hair, thin on top. a po«-k marked face and a notice, b'e ’beer belly. He said th» mao iso has the tat too of a cross between the thumb and forefinger of his left hand and an unknown tattoo on his left forearm. He has a front tooth missing or badly chipped. Duke said.The gold-colored automobile he was driving is believed to be a late 1960 or early 1970 model.
