Police Baffled In DisappearanceOf Lincoln MotherLINCOLN, Mass. (AP) - Threedays after brunette Mrs, JoanRisch vanished mysteriously fromher blood-stained kitchen, baffleddetectives sought today to find anexplanation in her background.While police renewed a minute search of woodland surrounding white Cape Cod home, other investigators went to Ridgefield, Conn., and Brooklyn, N.Y., where the 30-year-old mother lived previously.State Police Detective Lt. George Harnois told newsmen: “None of us can say conclusively at this time that we have a homicide here. The blood found could be consistent with a hemorrhage. It could also be consistent with a blow or blows inflicted in violence.”The woman's husband. Martin D. Risch, a paper company salesman, said “I don't know what to make uf Ihis. All I can say IS please help me find my wife.” The couple has two children, Lillian, 4, and Douglas. 2.“We have checekd thoroughly into her background,” Harnois said, “and there is not the slightest evidence of illness or emotional instability. From what we have learned, she is a very intelligent and well controlled woman.”Risch, 34, revised his wife’s description yesterday. He said she is 5 feet 7 and weighs 120 pounds. Earlier police descriptions had her two inches shorter and 10 pounds lighter.
