According to information here the young men told Sheriff Black they had been on the streets i?i Rockdale Sunday morning and that they did not try to escape. It was said that after the fight they drove to the home of their sister near Rockdale where Klvir Morrison was treated for a light wound on his head.('. S. Knight was slashed one time, the knife severed an artery in his neck. He died shortly after reaching the Richards Hospital and Clinic in Rockdale. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clir.t Knight of Rockdale. Constable Sexton said that thefight climaxed a long standing feudbetween the Morrison brothers and Lawrence. When the fight started, it was said here, Knight intervened in behalf of Lawrence and was killed. The Morrison brothers are said to have then attacked Lawrence with the result he was stabbed and seriously slashed and is in a critical condition in a Rockdale hospital.Bill Knight, older brother of the dead man, was stabU'd in the leg, but not seriously hurt.County Attorney Ed Gunn was in e Rockdale Monday morning. It was understood here that the Morrison Brothers had made a statement, hut n j the contents were not revealed.
