Lee Officer Is Acquitted In Road DeathI..eroy A. Lindenmuth, of the 100 block N. Fifth St. Hopewell, was. acquitted in Hustings Court today on a charge of manslaughter re* suiting from a traffic accident August 22 in which Luther C. Tench, of Hopewell, was killed.Tench suffered fatal injuries when struck by an auto allegedly driven by Lindenmuth.Lindenmuth was fined $250 and given a suspended jail sentence of six months on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident. The jail sentence was suspended on condition of good behavior for five years. His driving permit will be revoked for one year.Evidence on the two charges against Lindenmuth was heard by Judge Oliver A. Pollard October 3 and decision reserved until today... ........ .... ....
