Puckett, a grocer, andhis son, Joolii, were back homehere today after having been kidnaped and driven over several eastern Oklahoma counties by two of six escaped prisoner* from the Hughes county jail, all cf whom were still at large today.The Pucketts identified their kidnapers as Bill Johnson, 27, act-used lighwayran. and A mb re lt;1 Nix, charged with robb ry. Arthur Gooch. 25, Mau tic Lawson, 19, Myrtle Kindig, and Henry Hurt, a’l charged with robbery or burglary, raided an apartment house here, terrorized five women residents, and stole an automobile and b 10 from Dr. GregoryW. Morgan.Johnson was armed with a pistolsmuggled into the jail and 1 ter stole a shotgun from a Hanna farmer.
