and see him.The Eln Laake ease at Columbus last week resulted in an ac* rjuital for the defendant. The case was hotly contested, we are informed. The state was represented by ~W. M. Atkinson, district attorney, and Grebe Boyd, while the defendant was represented by Adkins Green. The case vent to the jury Friday night about 10 o'clock, and a verdict of acquittal was returned the following morning. The jury in this case was mostly from this section, and consisted of F. J.. Nitschmann, Fred A. Rose, F. Kuiner, Andrew Seiba, Jr., Hugo Nicolai, J. L.
