He was suspended after his arrest and fired after he was ordered to stand trial.Two homemade devices exploded June 23 in medicine cabinets inside two employees bathrooms at the center. No one was injured. The staff evacuated 54 elderly, retarded residents.Morey was a suspect because he was having a conflict with the center's management and because-staffers testified they saw him near one of the bathrooms from one to nine minutes before the explosions.However, two defense witnesses said they saw him in a bar at about the time of the explosions. Also, a former state police fire marshal demonstrated that the fuses on the devices took only a few seconds to burn down.
