(J. Crozier, J.P., formerly High Sheriff of County Fermanagh, which was held at (iorta, near Newtonbutler. The boy was discovered dead on the floor of his bed-room on October 'J% and it had been originally decided not to hold an inquest, but a post mortem examination was made immediately before the funeral, and a week after the body had been interred it was exhumed and some ol the organs were sent to Dublin for analysis.Helena Crozier, aged 1 1, sister of the dead vonth, who was removed to the county infirmary by the police after her brother's death, stated that she was not aware until that day that her brother was dead. To her he had always appeared to be in perfectly good health, and she did not see him with a black eye or a bruise or cut. He had never complained of having been beaten. She ami her brother were forbidden by their stepmother to speak to the men in fhe fields.The father of Hie dead youth, who was told by the coroner that, he need not give evidence unless lie liked, said that the reason he put a mattress on the floor for the bov the night before he died was that the lad’s leg was very stiff. It was beside the mattress that he found the boy’s dead body.
