Third F'ffort to Return Negro from St. Louis On uFelony charge Fails.The thud attempt to return ( Charles Whitmore, negro, from Si IL uts to this city to answer a charge of assault with intent to kill ended 111 failure when Stanley Hancock, deputy sheriff, returned here Saturday without Whitmore Hancock was prevented from bringing Whitmore back on a pre- fvtous trip when the negro's counsel secured a writ of haoeas corpus to keep Hancock from removing him from the state.
