we are not very fond or quails, anyway.Quite a disturbance took place near our public school house Wednesday morning'. It appears that Master Tom. Timmons, who was here on a visit, being at the school house,' he and one ot the scholars, named Stuckey, got into a row. when Tommy struck out from his shoulder, hitting the Stuckey boy on the nose, and breaking it. The school master came out to 6top the row, but Tommy didn't propose to have any meddling, drew a knife on the teacher, telling him to keep aloof. We understand that Tommy, becoming scared, left town In somewhat of a hurry.Personal Mention.
