COW SHOT ON MORRIS AIREY FARMRIVERS—A hereford cow in calf was shot Thursday night last week on the Morris Aireyfarm about 10 miles north-west of here.At about midnight, during a rain storm, Mr. and Mrs. Airey heard two rifles shots near their farm home and jlater a vehicle drove off. In the morning they saw the cow lyingdead in a field near the house.•The animal had been shot in the head. The RCMP are investigating the incident.
