MURDER CHARGE FILEDPRESCOTT. Oct. 17—(AP)—M. J. Thompson, 82-year-old Mayer justice of the peace, was charged with murder today .in connection with the slaying of Emixel N. Gibson, €5, here yesterday.The complaint was filed by Charles Ewing, county attorney.The county attorney said he was told that Thompson and Gibson had been quarreling for several weeks.Ewing said witnesses informed him that Thompson walked up behind Gibson in a lunch room, pulled his head back and slit his throat.Thompson had been justice of the peace here for the last four years and was a candidate for re-election.Gibson was custodian of the Mayer school, and formerly was a miner and carpenter.\op*rojitshilimatoantnalitor48IfeearrMaTnchiyesRocorPaJChi
