Edward Dark,who lives'nearihia place,bad a narrow escape from being shot by a robber who attempted to . hold him up near Buckeye Thursday evening whiles returning from Barry. Refusing to comply with the robber’s command.to halt, he was fired at twice,, one, shot passing through the top of the buggy and ijjte' other lodging in the back of the Mat. It was a narrow escape for Mr. Bark, and only the poor gunnery of his assailant saved him.
