Boy Admits Car Theft, SurrendersA 17-year-old Kingsport boy Monday night stole a car, raced away from authorities, ' I got out and ran on foot and , Ihen later turned himself in, Kingsport police said Tuesday.In jail was David Cobb, 17, 2212 East Center Street, arrested around midnight on a charge of stealing a car from Anderson Ford.Officers said they spatted, ; the car on Bloomingdale Pike j and chased it until the youth jumped, out and eluded them on foot.
