The tooth has't nine points and is nineteen inches in* circumference. There is a hole an inch and a hah! in diameter running 4 from the base of the tooth, where the nerve xiassed. -The tooth was taken to Professor Conley, who declared that it was the front upper too;h of a mastodon. The tooth is composed of solid ivory. .
