A trial was scheduled for Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Reeves was charged July 9 with engaging in sexual contact with a person, younger than 12 years old, on Sept. 16, 1989Vernon K. Homer, 26, 575 E. Valley Drive, Burbank, pleaded innocent Sept. 10 to a charge of taking a motor vehicle without the owner's permission. A trial was scheduled for Nov. 6 and 7. Homer was charged Aug. 13 with intentionally taking or driving away a car, without the owner's permission, betweenJuly 20 and 21.Mathew A. Dunn, 27, 248 E. Birch St, No. 308, pleaded innocent Sept. 10 to a charge of hit and run - injury accident. A trial was scheduled for Nov. 6 and 7. Dunn was charged Aug. 8 with being the driver of a vehicle involved in an injury accident on June 24, and failing to identify himself or to help at the scene, even though he was not injured or incapacitated himself.Richard A. Broman, 29,1044 University St., pleaded innocent Sept. 10 to a charge of second-degree possessing stolen property. A trial was scheduled for Nov. 8 and 9. Broman wascharged Aug. 13 with knowingly receiving, retaining, possessing, concealing or disposingof a stolen mountain bike on June 25.Francisco Guzman, 32, Pasco, pleaded innocent Sept. 10 to a charge of violation of the uniform controlled substances act — possession of marijuana over 40 grams. A trial was scheduled for Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Guzman was charged Aug 13 with unlawfully possessing more than 40 grams of marijuana on Aug. 8.Richard D. Hoffman, 40, 2706 Melrose St.,pleaded innocent Sept. 10 to a charge of unlawful possession of a short firearm or pistol. A trial was scheduled for Nov. 8 and 9. Hoffman was charged July 30 with possessing a pistol, after having been convicted of a felony violation of the uniform controlled substancesact, on March 23.Raymond T. Reinke, 27, 603 Sycamore St.,pleaded innocent Sept. 10 to a charge of attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle and a charge of driving while suspended. A trial was scheduled for Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Reinke was charged July 30 with failing or refusing to stop his vehicle, after being signaled to do so by a uniformed officer, and driving a vehicle while his privilege to do so was suspended or revoked, on July 1.Gary McFarlin, 40, address unavailable, pleaded innocent Sept. 11 to a charge of custodial assault. A trial was scheduled for Nov. 6 and 7. McFarlin was charged Sept. 10 with assaulting a staff member of the Walla Walla County Jail, while the staff member was per forming his official duties, on Aug. 23.
