It is believed that his murderers threw the body from a car after riddling it with bullets.Two newsboys found the body huddled in the field in full view of the paved road.Friends of Highfield believe he ek^^as tortured before death. It was evident that he had put up a stiff fight, as his shirt was torn in the struggle and his knuckles were badly bruised. i
