MURDERER’S ARRESTED.It will be remembered that on the 4th dav. /of July last, Col. Davenport, of Rock Island,Illinois, was most barbarously and Inhumanly murdered in bis own house, and robbed of all his money and a valuable gold watch. For the time the murderers eluded all pursuit and no traces of them could be obtained until a special agent was employed, who left thereon the 15th of July last, and since then hasbeen slowly, but surely, tracing them from place to place, and from crime to crime, until about two weeks since, when he succeeded in arresting one of them near Indianapolis, la. Encouraged by his success, he persevered in his undertaking, and on last Friday a week ago, succeeded in securing two more of the gang, at Lower Sandusky, Ohio There still remain two more to complete the praiseworthy undertaking of this most enterprising agent, who will be safely provided for before this ar-ind indetermined prudence of this agent, Mr. E.
