ing her arm a week ago.—The prisoner was remauueu.CLSBKEITWEIiLiCommittal of a Ticket-of Leave Woman forFelony.—Elizabeth Lewis, alias Broken-nosed Liz, was charged with stealing from the pocket of John Stour ton, a stonemason, a purse containing a half-sore reign, in City-garden-row, Clerkenweli.—John Stonrton said he resided at Brook-toad, Upper Clapton. He was a married man, and the father of children. He met the prisoner in the City-road, and she asked him for something to drink, which he gave her. Afterwards he went with her to a low house. His parse was safe when he went into the room, and after he had been there a ahort time he missed it. He accused her of the robbery, but she denied it, and left the house with him, and seeing a pblioe-constable, he gave her in charge. The purse produced was his property.—The prisoner denied that she had stolen the purse.—Warren, 203 N, said he saw the prosecutor and the prisoner standing together at the corner of Nelson-plaoe, City-road. After the prisoner was taken to the station, he went back to the plaoe, and inside the garden railings found the prosecutors purse.—Scott, 134 N, said the prisoner had been several times in custody for drunkenness, assaults, and felony. He could prove the following oonviotions for felony:—Feb. 7, 1859, sir months’ hard labour, for stealing a watch; May 20,1860, three years* penal servitude, for a like offence to the present; and since then
