I California killing may Nave killed Picacho resident Tommy : Hannah Monday morning at a resit stop near Casa Grande and are apparently on their way to Indiana, investigators saidtoday.Pinal County Sheriff’s deputies said the two men, driving a brown or gold van, got stuck in sand shortly before an Illinois man was shot four times with a shotgun and a small amountpf nioney removed from.him in southern California.Investigators said a beer-: truck driver helped the pair remove their vehicle from the sand near the scene of theCalifornia slaying, and one of the two told the truck driver that his wife had left him and they were on their way toIndiana to find her.Officers in California told deputies here that the two may be California men. In theCalifornia .shooting, Daniel Walker, 22, of Libertyville, 111., was shot four times with ashotgun while sleeping in his van alongside Interstate 40, about 80 miles east of Barstow; according to San Bernardino County sheriffs,A hitchhiker, sleeping. in the rear of Walker’s van was apparently not noticed, officers said, and told deputies that, the slaying was. committed by twomen in their 20’s driving a six-year-old van.
