Return Negro Hereto Face Assault ChargeCharles Whitmore, negro, want od here for an attack on Constable Elbert Taylor last year, will be returned to this city to face trial fcy Stanley Hancock, deputy sheriff tomorrow. Hancock will leave tonight for St. Louis where Whitmore is held.Whitmore made good his escape after taking the officer's gun away from him and beating the office' over the head. Extradition papers were recently obbtained for his return from St. Louis.
