STOLEN AUTOMOBILERECOVERED SUNDAY.The Ford automobile, which wa©! stolen from John Williams, at: Queensville, several weeks ago, was found near Versailles, Sunday, in . the possession of Charles Stagg, who has rocently purchased it from James Hull, of Versailles. Hull had pur-j chased the automobile at a .garage.at -Indianapolis. The story of the re-1 covery of the car is interesting and is as follows: iTom Semon, who resides at Vernon 1 while attending the State Fair at Indianapolis, was hired to drive a Ford car from Indiianapolls to ver-salles, the owner of the car James Hull, having just purchased it and being afraid to drive from Indianapolis to his home. After returning home, Semon learned of the theft of John Williams’ car, at Queensville, and upon hearing the description of the car, he formed the opinion that the car which he drove from Indian-I apolis was Williams’ car. He noti-1 fied Mr. Williams, last week, and gave the description of the car as wel as he could remember, on Sunday j Mr. Semon and Mr. Williams, in' company with Sheriff James Huntington, drove to Mr. Hull’s home and asked to see the car. Mr. Hull inform ed them that he had sold the car to Charles Stagg, who lives one and one-half miles southwest of Holton. Thej went to the Stagg home and found the car, the description, even to some little minor repairs that had been made by Mr. Williams, and tn©, engine number, beng the same asthat of Mr. Williams* car.Hull said that he had purchased the car from a garage at Indianapolis and had paid $212 for it. He sold it to Stagg for $275. After Williams claimed the car, Hull refunded to© purchase money to Stagg, and on Monday Hull went to the garage at Indianapolis and had his money refunded. As the matter stands now,, the Indianapolis garage Is the loser, unless the -than who sold the car ca* be found, which Is not likely._
