Police say the suspect was driving a red van and wearing a brown or blue long sleeve shirt and baseball cap. The suspect had a short gray beard and was not wearing glasses. If anyone has any information, contact state police at 627-3161.MarijuanaSMITHFIELD TWP. -State police at Huntingdon seized six suspected marijuana plants and growing implements Thursday evening from a Spruce Street home. Initially, the Smithfield Fire Co. was dispatched to the home for a report of a possible gas leak. While searching the residence for traces of leaking gas, responders located several suspected marijuana plants in a closet. That information was then passed on to state police. Police obtained consent from the unidentified resident to search thecans that belonged to Bobbi Jo McCready, Warriors Mark. The theft happened Sept. 18 or 19. The cans were sold at a scrap yard.DUI/disorderly conductHUNTINGDON - Huntingdon Borough Police have charged Dustin Baker of 11109 Ravstown Road. Huntingdon, for DU1. disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, stemming from an incident at 12:28 a.m. today. According to Chief Rufus Brenneman. officers were called for a disturbance in the area of Fifth and Penn streets. Upon arrival, officers noticed people leaving the area and stopped Baker a short time later. He was charged with DUE Just as he was being released by officers.Baker became unruly and was*arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Also involved was Rebecca Baker, who was charged by borough police with disorderly conduct. She was arrested and placed in the Huntingdon County Jail on a probation violation after officers discovered she was intoxicated. Charges
