Fred Pierson was taken before ’Squire Christy, Monday morning, when he entered a plea of gUilty to intoxication. He had been held in jail since Sept. 26. Upon his pleaof guilty he was given a fine of $1.00 and costs. Upon his failure tc pay he was sent to jail for ten days.
