O'Neill, who had been gathered m the night before for being drunk, was also fined and sent to jail.In the afternoon the trial of “Dude” Christopher, a colored citizen who about a week ago attempted to kill John Clarey in a saloon on Julien avenue, occupied the attention of the court most of the afternoon. Christopher was bound over to keep the peace in the sum of $200 and failing to furnish bail, was sent to jail. A charge of assault and battery has been preferred against Clarey by Christopher, and his trial set for next Thursday befoie Squire Gra' z
