In the morning Mrs-Kane and Mrs. Cooper were arraigned before him on the charge of keeping a disorderly house. They pleaded guilty to a minor offense and were flued, which they paid.C’aa9. O’Neill, who had been gathered m the night before for being drunk, was also fiaed and sent to jail.In the afternoon the trial of “Dude”: Christopher, a colored citizen who about| a week ago attempted to kill John Clareyin a saloon on Julien avenue, occupied the attention of the court most of the afternoon. Christopher was bound over to keep the peace in the sum of $200 and failing to furnish bail, was sent to jail.
