Club Managers •Fined After RaidsINDEPENDENCE (Special) — Charges lor keeping club booms 011 ed with intoxicants and for having illegal possession of gambling devices were filed against Don Brockway and Frank Daneny this morning,Brockway, manager of the VEW country club, was fined $200 for the first charge and $250 for the second. Danehy manager of the up town unit was also fined $200 and $250 for the same charges.It was decided that the liquor acquired in the raids Tuesday would be turned over to People’s ed i hospital while Sheriff Emery Hart would destroy the slot machines in front of the courthouse before the public.West Union School
