(Special to T** Tinas.)CROWN POINT, IND., Oct. f.--On motion of City Judge E. A. Krest, who Is also mayor of Crown Point, the state cases against Daniel MeEweit. alias Jack Burke, keeper of a Cedar Lake saloon, set for tril Tuesday afternoon, were continued yesterday until October 22. The state is represented by Deputy Prosecutor August Bremer and the defendant by the firm of tKnight and Brown. In two affidavits county agent 8. J. Craig, who was secretary of the Lake County Fair Association charges Burke with having parried concealed weapons and with breaking the peace. The trouble between Burke and Craig arose over the former's attempt to operate a blind pig’* at the county fair. It is said.
