The stranger gave his name as Gabriel Moffatt, and was to go right home and drive the hogs down so they could be weighed, received and shipped with the others. He was paid ยง20 to bind the deal and ^t once left to drive the hogs in for delivery, aud was never seen any more. It seems that Gabriel Moffatt has spent his life in this manner of business.
