Grenade on BusGLENS FALLS, N Y (AP) -School bus-driver Zeke Stan-nard, of Lake George, was driving here with 30 children todaywhen someone in the rear shouted:“There's a real hand grenade and he’s pulled the pin.” Stannard, a World War II veteran, stopped the bus and raced to the rear, where he found a9-year-old boy holding a hand grenade that had no pin.Stannard, an Air Force man who never had handled grenades, had heard they wouldnot explode if the handle washeld down.
