THREE BROTHERS SENTENCED.Plainfield Boys Run Afoul of Law and Two Go to I. B. S. and One to Reformatory.Three Plainfield boys were sentenced to penal institutions by Judge Brill, Thursday. .The defendants were sons of Janies Watson, formerly of s Plainfield, and their careers have been one of hard sledding. A few years ago they were taken in charge by the authorities and cared for at the County Home. For some time they have resided in Plainfield.Floyd Watson, the oldest son, was held on a very serious charge. He entered a plea of guilty to a charge of assault and battery with ^intent to commit rape. A 7-year-old girl of Plainfield was the victim. He was sentenced to the State Reformatory for a term of 2 to 14 years, i Cyrus and William, aged 12 and 14 j respectively, admitted they had participated in thieving raids and they, were sent to the Indiana Boys School.7 William did not enjoy the proceedings *and he cried lustily.The mother of the boys is dead and they were deserted by their father. He is said to now be in Kentucky. The three boys kept house by themselves and had their efforts been directed in the proper way their paths might have been more rosy. It seemed impossible for them to subdue a “bad streak/’
