EVIDENCES OF BUTCHERY.1A Terrible Crime Believed to Have BeenCommitted in Arkansas.Little Rock, Ark., Oct. 5.—Budd Chaffin and five children living at Duvall's Bluff are missing and evidences or a terrible butchery at their house pmnt to murder. Suspicion rests on Mrfc. Chaffin and John King, the hired | mark Neither King nor any of the Chafll ^us have boen seen since Sept. 21.date King -was seen driving away ih a wagon in company with Mrs. Chaffin. As they did not return and nothing was seen of the other members of the family the neighbors began aninvestigation. When the house in Which the Chaffins had lifed was opened blood was found spattered all over the floor and there were evidences of a terrible butchery having been com* emitted, but no bodies were found.
