Three of the eight women, whowere arrested along with the fourmen Saturday night in China Alleyhere, by deputies from the sheriff's office, were tlned a total of $650, of which $500 was suspended, it was announced at the Court House thismorning. All 12 Oxnarders pleaded guilty according to the sheriff's office todav.Alberta Lee was fined $200, of which $150 was suspended; Mnria Flores, 22, was fined $250 of which $200 was suspended, she paid the remaining $50 and was released; Irene Bustamante received a fine of $200, of which $150 was suspended. She paid the $50 and was released. The others were to haVe received their sentenceseither this afternoon or tomorrow morning.The even dozen victims were charged with various counts, the majority of which were possession of liquor and operating alleged disorderly houses.Others who were taken in the sheriff's net were: Lucy Hicks, Mrs. Jean Kennedy, Albert Villegas, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Trimbv and Albert Gilbert, Josephine Villegas, and two “JohnDoes.”All were brought before Judge Malvern Dimmick in the Ventura justice court to face their charges.Chief-of-police Harry W. Johnson stated this morning that all of the violators are old offenders and have repeatedly been warned or arrested by the Oxnard officers several times during the past three months.
