An Official “Scoop”» * * 1OfFiceraJfenry Lemon, Everett Brammer, Milt Meadows and H. B. Saunders, raided a “speak : easy” near Eecles last Saturday night and succeeded in capturing , eight parties charged with dis- • pensing the celebrated tanglefoot. The parties captured were W. E. Link, Ruth-Ray, Carrie Jackson, Mary Smith, Hazel , Thompson, Carrie Martin and Lessie Sneed, colored, and onewhite womanr®nnie Rutledge, whose career in this city of no distant date is well known. Besides the above capture a large quantity of beer and whiskey was confiscated. The parties were brought here.and lodged iif the county hotel located off- the court house square.
