(UPI) — A California man who was convicted of killing a member of a pioneer Iowa family received a life sentence in prison Wednesday.Russell Weisse, 26. Oxnard, Calif., was sentenced in Superior Court here without a possibility/ of parole. He was convicted of kidnap and murder in the death of RobertFinkbine, 48. last October Weisse was found guilty of forcing Finkbine to give ownership papers of his$60,000 yacht to Weisse, killinghim. and dumping his body into the ocean Weisse then sold the boat for $45,000.Finkbine's body was neverrecovered.The court also denied a defense motion for a new trial.
