By JOHN J. McNAMARAA 20-year-old Woburn, Mass., man wanted by Massachusetts authorities as a suspect in a holdup murder near Saugus Thursday night, was captured by Trooper William J. Ennis of the Latham station of Troop G, Stale Police, Saturday afternoon in fit. 143, Town of llalfmoon.The suspect, Norman Arthur Porter Jr., of 2 Garden St., Woburn, offered no resistance when Trooper Ennis stopped an auto he was driving north in Kt. 146 on a routine auto check.In Albany JailPorter was arrested as a fugitive from justice. After questioning at the Latham station he was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Harry D’Agostino, Town of Colonie, and committed to Albany County Jail to await the outcome of extradition proceedings, which will probably be completed today.A hitchhiker riding with Porter, George S. Hamilton, 26, of WarrentQfi, Va., was charged with vagrancy and following ar raignrrrent before Justice of the Peace Vernon Shear, Town of llalfmoon, was committed lo Saratoga County Jail at Balls-ton Spa pending further investigation.Porter was sought following a bloody rush hour tobbery Thursday night in a busy Massachusetts Route 1 clothing store in whlth one man was killed, another wounded and a third roughed up.
