Gardiner, In the Daily News, compares Great Britain's* j ‘‘frightfulness in Ireland with Ger-1 ' many's in Belgium, and declares that1Britain owes an apology to the Germans.While the Germans, he asserts, aimed at terrorism in Belgium, they didn’t destroy for the sake of destruction, and then says: Up to the present, over 100towns and villages have been shot up. At the present rate of destruction there soon will be desolation as complete as five years of war accomplished in the zone of battle itself. This feature of deviltries in Ireland, by deliberate and calculated destruction of factories, ships, creameries, is part of the plan.
