1Hammond police today were in-f | vest! gating seven new thefts, reported at headquarters in the past twenty-four hours, ‘William Blackman. 227 Carroll street, Hammond musician, was the most unfortunate of the victims. He lost a £250 flute, stolen from his machine while it was parked on Sibley street between Hohma.n avenue and Morton court.
