lenlnokj Kluklux on Trial fbr Varl-ott* Crimea.Plnevllle, Ky., Sept. *28.—The Kuklux gang of outlaws which were captured In Latcher county a few days ago and brought to tills place, arc now on trial for a number of crimes, such as murder, highway robbery and attemptingto wreck trains. The trial of this gang•was transferred to this place from Whitesbnrg, Ky., the county scat of Latcher county, on applleatlon of the (counsel for the defendants. This measure was takeu owing to Intense feeling against the outlaws in that county. There are 13 In the gang to be tried, and the first case called was that of Mans Wright This Kuklux gang Is composed of the Reynolds and Wright factions, and has been operating in Latcher county mod Bell county for several years. Their last crime was that of murdering a woman aamt»d Rig Wilson In Latch-sr county. The last and 14tb member of this gang, Morgan Reynolds, is still at large. Reynolds Is the leader of the gang and defies the officers to take him. Constables are bringing In witnesses for the commonwealth.
