Arthur E. Campbell, 47, Great Falls, pleaded guilty to a July 3 charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, was fined $310, and his license was suspended for six months. All but 24 hours of the jail term will be suspended if he surrenders his license, completes the ACT program, follows the recommendations of the counselor, has no alcohol-related offenses for six months, and while in jail reads the DUI notebook and writes a three-page essay on it. A charge of obstructing the duties of an officer was dismissed on a motion by the city attorney.
