The three men with him, unarmed, fled.Other troopers soon converged on the scene. Bloodhounds were brought in to trace the soldier when he was not found in the cabin but the dogs lost the trail.Thrrd Trooper Death It was the third state trooper slain on duty in 30 days, the Harrison, Ark.f paper says, and the authorities were up in arms. Road blocks were set up and maintained for three days. On Sunday a posse was formed to search for him and the shallow grave with his body was found 300 yards down the slope from the cabin.. Location of relatives provided a task.
