Charges Filed In Winburne ShootingWINBURNE - Criminal charges were filed Thursday against two Cooper Township juveniles in the Nov. 23 shooting of a 15-year-old Winburne girl, Morris-Cooper Township Police said.The victim, JoAnn Dunlap, daughter of Joe Dunlap and Nancy Perschka, both of Winburne, is listed in satisfactory condition at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, according to a hospital attache. She is out of the cardiac intensive care unit, where she was previously listed in serious condition, the attache added.The shooting occurred while Miss Dunlap sat watching television with youths at the Elmer Spotts residence in Winburne.Charges filed with Clearfield County juvenile authorities include recklessly endangering the life of another person, aggravated assault, simple assault, two counts of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, intimidation of witnesses or victims, two counts ofunsworn falsification to authorities, and two counts of false reports to police officers.The girl was shot in the upper right leg ‘‘at very close range” with a 22 caliber hornet center fire rifle loaded with a hollow-point car-tridge with a bullet that mushrooms on impact, it was explained.She was treated at the scene by Cooper Township Emergency Medical personnel and taken to Philipsburg State General Hospital. Later, Miss Dunlap was transferred to Geisinger Medical Center by helicopter.
