MICHAEL ACTED POLICEMAN.But i* Fjectcd and Brought Before Hie Honor—Other Justice Court New*#Miohsel Rigney is again on the docket in Justice Young’s court, Ida B. Miller this morning having lodged an affidavit for assault and battery. Ida resides on New street. She says that Michael was three times refused admission to her house last night, but he forced his way in by breaking the door. On one occasion he laid hands on two of her male boarders and said ho thereby placed them under arrest. Officer Warren was called and he started the intruder home but he returned at a late hour. She further says that when she protested Michael struck her in the breast, knocking her across the room. Micnael was on the poljjce force for a couple of nights not lcjhg ago, and the hearing will probably develop whether his authority has been annulled.
