A 20-vear-old Wilson man was convicted Tuesday in District Court on three counts of drug possession and ordered to spend six months in the county jail The defendant. Kenneth Ray Barnes, who is also charged with common law robbery, notified Judge Allen Harrell that he plans to appeal the case to Superior Court.A probable cause hearing on the charge of common law robbery was waived by the defendant and bound over to Superior Court for trial,Barnes, 1207 S. Tarboro, is accused of forceably stealing a billfold containing S400 from Grover Rex Holloman on Nov 1 A charge of public drunkenness against the youth was dismissed.
