Domestic Quarrel Leaves One DeadTRENTON, Mo. (AP) - The Grundy County Sheriff’s office said John W. Sturgeon, 33, Trenton, was shot and killed shortly before midnight in a domestic disturbance.Officers said Charles D. Akers, 31, also of Trenton, was being held in connection with the shooting.The shooting was investigatedby Sheriff’s officers, Trenton police and the highway patrol.Spokesmen said Sturgeon went to Akers house to see his ex-wife. They said an argument developed and Sturgeon knocked down the front door trying to gain entrance to the home when he was shot.News Items: Phone 358-2191.
