F rederick Man Killed In Break-IniA Frederick man was shot and killed early Monday morning during an attempted rob-1 bery of a store in Anne ArundelCounty.Anne Arundel County Police said Calvin Lidie Jr., 44, of Frederick was shot and killed I by the store owner, identified lt;only as C. Pope, 69, when Pope 11 caught Lidie breaking into his I store at Fort Smallwood Road, ■ Revere Beach. iPolice said that Pope decided lt;to stay in his store overnight I since he had been robbed three ; days earlier. At 5 a. m. he heard a sound and upon inves- i ti gat ion found Lidie attempting ! to break in. He fired a warning 1 shot which failed to stop Lidie I The next shot hit L-die injuring him fatally, police said.Lidie was taken by the Revere Beach ambulance to North | ; Arundel Hospital where he died t shortly after arrival.Sgt.
