Frequent Offender In Hocking County Flees Erie JailCity police have been alerted that John H. Warren, who has twice been put on probation in Hocking County for offenses, escaped from Erie County jail at Vermillion last night.Warren was put on probation for three years in 1957 on a charge of grand larceny for stealing a number of parking meters in Logan.In 1960, he was again put on probation for three years for bur-glary of Carbon Hill school.According to police records, Warren was also arrested here for violation of parole and returned to Ohio Penitentiary. He was sentenced to the penitentiary from another county.
