Child Murder.—We lc»rn that sometime yesterday, a child was killed by its own father in Kai-iertowo, situated be* tween the villages of Montgomery and Scotchtown. Thu circumstances, as we beard them, were, that a colored man, named Sharp Miller, who is given to drunkenm-ss, living in a tenant house of George Pitts, not far from Cranee’s distillery, was at home, and that his youngest child, aged four or five months, disturbed him with its crying, and that be first endeavored to busb it by ruthlessly knocking its head against the chimney jamb, and not succeeding with the force used, he then threw it across the house, against the wall, and terminated its crying with its life. We have not heard of bis arrest, but doubtless be will be looked after bybis neighbors, and the proper authorities—Montgomery Standard.this irone, vcessiodictatend tor lattimeis richterialsto stawell athen' couqsfkincttoforcactedcou n ttendles
