*?lie Swanson Kape Case.The trial of Robert Price on charge of rape, committed on the person of Hattie Swanson in a house near the corner of Twenty-seventh and Randolph streets last summer, was up for disposal in the first court yesterday. The entire time during the day of Judge. Chapman and the jury was taken up in hearing the testimony and arguments in the case.County Attorney Stearns and his assistant, R. G. Green appeared for the state, and Messrs. Pound lt;fe Burr for the defendant. The case was ably handled oa both sides, the main effort of the defense being to prove the bad character of the prosecuting witness. Beside those directly interested in the case there was a large audience of appreciative listeners to the dirty details of the case. The jury returned a verdict last night finding Price not guilty of the char go made against him,
